TAKTIK® STRIKE for iPhone 5 is designed to protect from the most severe impacts and drops. STRIKE features the same shock absorbing, 9mm Patent-Pending Impact Truss and ballistic bezels as TAKTIK EXTREME, as well as sealed audio and charging ports. The case is made up of three sections. A front frame or bezel, a back bezel and inner core. Lunatik calls the front and back parts, Ballistic Bezels. All the pieces are held together with 6 screws. The inner core, or Truss is made from a heavy duty, shock and impact absorbing material. It feels like a soft pillow and just picking it up it you immediately recognize the job it's going to do protecting your iPhone 5. It seems like a small air mattress or cushion. Finally the bezel for the back is made from tough durabel plastic and adds stability to the case. The Strike case offers maximum protection for your iPhone 5. The case features a water and dust repellent material, as well as, port protectors for the headset jack and lighting port. Both the volume buttons and sleep/awake buttons get covered by the case but still offer good feedback when pressed. The mute switch has a unique button pressing design which works quite well.
