The union of wicker, aluminium and glass gives a contemporary touch to this table with an exotic taste. Available in three models, Nilo is completed with an optional tempered glass top that makes it elegantly suitable for every kind of outdoor environment such as balconies, gardens and verandas. Technical Characteristics The steel used for all cod.emg products is worked through innovative processes of surface protection, patented in collaboration with the most important companies of the sector. In the first phase the base material is submitted to an ungrease and decapping treatment, in the second phase is covered with a phosphatic micro-crystalline layer that guarantees an anti-corrosion efficiency. The item is then painted with cathode electro-deposition, the most advanced technology for metal protection. Lastly, we have a cooking phase that gives the item its definitive look by covering it with a 30 micron cataphoresis film. Aluminium is a supple and elastic element. Its low specific gravity and its resistance to corrosion make it especially suitable for outdoor furniture. The manufacturing company uses a special aluminium alloy to insure the highest resistance to corrosion. The high percentage of silicon improves the material fluency during moulding, the copper increases resistance to corrosion while manganese and zinc increase metal malleability. At the end of the production process the product is then submitted to superficial protection treatments. Tempered glass is a particular type of glass, manufactured through a process of extreme heating and rapid cooling. This process makes it harder and stronger than normal glass and does not break into sharp shards when it fails.
