Close the laptop lid and measure the longest side, this is the WIDTH of the laptop. Measure the distance of the second longest side from the front to the back. This is the DEPTH of the laptop. The HEIGHT is the distance from the base to the top of the laptop. Once you have this information you can check it against the manufacturer or shops product spec.
